Nice continuity. Just listened to the Use of Ashes and Balaklava myself and I quite liked it. I cant listen too long though because Mr. Rapp's lisp starts to sshhtand out and dischtract me from the musscchhic. I do think he is genius all the same.

Never heard that one Oliver is it any good.
Believe it is the same as one of the discs of the In Concert dbl.
It is very good - recorded in 1972 (Mk2). This one was remastered by Steve Hoffman and has two bonus tracks from 1968 (Mk1).
Cheers ... Oliver

Denis,
Do you have the Becker on vinyl?
Munch
Hi Munch,
I have the EU CD with the bonus track. Is it available on vinyl? If so I will get it. I can't get over how Walter has learnt to sing and making a better solo album than Donald's last effort.

I am a sucker for the west coast country rock thing. Even though they look like Spinal Tap gone country, it is a good listen. They were Dan Fogelberg's touring band (another guilty pleasure, but only the Souvenirs and Captured Angel albums.)

Hi John
Always liked Tom Rapp - I bought all his albums in the early 70s when at college. Balaklava is excellent if a little short. Use of Ashes is a great album too, especially The Jeweller, Rocket Man and Riegal. There is always so much happening in his songs.
I agree the lisp is not his greatest asset though.
