You know I always passed over Mason Profit in the bins. I will have to give it a try. I like you latest selections, especially the first Jo Jo Gunne. Love it. Actually I can listen to a bit of Poco to, especially with Tim Schmidt.

The only reason I knew about Fool's Gold was from a live recording of a show where they opened and then backed Fogelberg. I forgot about innocent age, which is great too. I think the overplaying of "longer than" at weddings and tinny radio made me turn my back after that album and so I missed innocent age.

Regarding the Jay Ferguson solo, I just could not feel it at all. How did you find it?

John

Dean..OOVOC

One of the greatest prog albums ever. What happened? Peter Gabriel left, then Steve Hackett left, and then there were three...

I have always had a liking for the Jay album John. Don't think it is a great album but like some of the trax.

"A Larum" Johnny Flynn. For those of you partial to a folky, slightly offbeat sound I can thoroughly recommend this. Johnny and my sons were in the same choir as trebles in the early 90s. The boy is doing well!

Grover Washington - Greatest Performances. Another of my old cassettes being brought back to life on the Nak. Have not played this for years and yet I know every single note. Great stuff.

I used to have that, and found it terminally tedious! Have you tried Devon Sproule's Keep Your Silver Shined? That sounds good after a couple of spins.
