Not sure what the left disc is, but I have read about Horse Feathers, locally they get good press - not heard their music. Haven't been to a live show since June 2007 Frown

Great selection. I just bought the Neil Young on the SH forum, it was still missing in my collection.

It's not bad but there are probably better albums out there with Bill Frisell on. I quite like his new one History/Mystery

Thanks for the quick response, we had the first summer like day yesterday but this morning it is raining - great to stay at home for a little classic hour. Smile

Listening to No. 9. I think Sir Charles must have been in a hurry to get home for his tea when he recorded this- must be the quickest slow movement ever!

Anne-Sophie Mutter is joined by Lambert Orkis on piano performing the Beethoven's complete Spring & Kreuzer sonatas.

I listened to her new album on the web a couple of days ago and it is as beautiful as she is.

Actually, Roger Norrington is about a minute quicker. Worth noting that that set has a fascinating liner note by Mackerras about the tempi.

Miller and MilesSmiles - I didn't even know there was another cover, but it doesn't look right.
