Winker

Well OK, not really. Cool cover, though. A follow-up to their best-selling "Jesus Come Inside Me".

Wachet auf, ...!

Wake awake, ...!

JS Bach played on the Organ at Lubeck Dom in 1947 by Helmut Walcha. Exemplary in every way. Bach auditioned for the job of playing this very organ! Still there even after the destruction of WW2. Perhaps the Fates were kind to it for some happy reason. It was built between 1467 and 1637, so a truly old instrument.

I foresee an evening of Bach now ...

There are many members on this forum playing J.J.Cale and that's usually a good sign to go ahead and try. I recommend this 2 cd-set for the nice smooth singing style and good backing group music performance. The sound quality is interesting too, analogue hiss but this gives my cdi a kind of vinyl turntable quality, and this only adds to the enjoyment imho : )

Just arrived today, Miles Davis 'The Complete On The Corner Sessions'. So far disc 1 is superb. After many years of trying I am finally getting into Miles Davis' 70's music, and loving it.
