Furtwangler and the BPO with Schumann's first symphony. I'm not normally the world's greatest Schumann fan but wow.

Richard Hawley - Late Night Final
This guy has a really expressive voice and a wonderful guitar sound. Although I was introduced to him through his later works, this simpler earlier effort (fewer instruments and ornamentation) is first class.
Sounds great through my system, so it should be really fantastic through some of the high end ones.
Regards
Nic

Mozart: Serenade for 13 winds
Great piece. I'd suggest all you casual classical fans get a recording of one of Mozart's greatest works.

Haim,
Thanks for the recommendation, nice album. Takes a few listens to get into as the guitar work is so delicate compared to someone like Joe Pass or Kenny Burrell. The version of Concierto De Aranjuez is outstanding. With the line up of musicians involved, I really should not be surprised.
Regards
Nic
Nic,

Does that mean you listen below 130db?
I don't know their music myself, just going by their name!

Yes! This one is quite mellow with none of the death vocals they often use. I think it has some Steve Wilson in the mix as well so could be a good place to try out a little Opeth.
Cheers
