The Tonny Bennett-Bill Evans Album.

Haim,

I bought this album a few weeks ago as XRCD - I had missed out on it before. The co-operation between the two to them is fantastic. Have listened to it many times over the last few weeks.

Cheers ... Oliver

Oliver,

I fully agree. I am playing the xrcd version too and it sounds wonderful even on my very modest Naim system.

Regards,
Haim

Haim,

isn't 'modest Naim system' an oxymoron? Winker

I used to bring music instead of wine in the past as well but after my latest move to Sydney I switched back to wine - Lontano is the only exception, and I had to promise him never to bring any of my Chinese or Japanese instrumental recordings to the party. I mostly get this reaction: Eek

Enjoy your Saturday night, I'm taking my son now to the park - its a nice and sunny day here in Sydney.

Cheers ... Oliver

For anyone who has ever fancied a bit of Jewish/Cuban music played by a Canadian on a New York record label, this could be for you.

Great album - well reviewed in many places

This cd, lent to me by a friend who said he'd purchased it at a 'Library Sale' for the princely sum of 50p. The case is the scruffiest i've ever seen but excusing that, the cd was so dirty and scuffed i washed it in mild soap and water before putting it in my cdi player!
It plays remarkably well considering, and the music is very good indeed! : )

Had to turn off the system, kids golf tournament cancelled - now it is a beautiful day again. Amazing where that came from.
