I am enjoying them lots thanks Tam! : )

The sound quality varies but my system is dealing with that in it's stride, the tracks that do come over well are a very special delight to hear - espesially [i]12-Bar Original]/i] which i haven't heard before. A lot of the material i have heard before somewhere... reminds me of a Beatles Box Set of lp's i used to own, struck on the polydor label and marketed in the 70's by 'Readers Digest' <blush> of all people but heck they actually played very well on my old rega planner 3 back along... shouldn't of sold them off really.
Considering the price i paid for the Anthology cd's i really can't complain about anything here and i don't believe they will be gathering much dust on my shelve!

Must go Eleanor Rigby (strings only) is just starting, and it sounds brill ; )

regards ~

Willy Deville - Miracle is one of my favourite pieces of Vinyl. Produced by Mark Knopfler, who plays with understated charm and power. Even Robert Fripp would admire Mark's discipline and control Winker.

I happened to have found the same Canadian release here. If it does exist and your a a WD fan, do not hesitate and buy!

TITLE: Miracle
MEDIA: LP
LABEL: Polydor
RELEASE COUNTRY: Canada
RELEASE DATE: 1987
CONDITION (INNER / OUTER): NEAR MINT + EXCELLENT

Another Candaian Vinyl gem I was lucky enough to pick up many years ago. This is cut at half speed from the original 76cm/second master tapes. The dynamics are fantastic and makes me want to upgrade the LP12 combo to hear even more. This is an Audiophile Series release and worth tracking down.

Label : A&M
Pressing : CAN - SPJ 3647

Maybe musically limited, but great lyrics. Think this girl shows great promise considering she is only 14

Ruby And Her Whorses

I particularly liked her song, "Suffolk's Finest" about Emos!

"Your self-esteem is at an all-time low
When you've fallen in love with an emo"
