Mark,

I have like 20 Alpha discs and every one of them carries delicious music.

I am playing now this one which arrived today:

I hope that you enjoy Gustav Leonhardt's harpsichord.

Regards,
Haim

Haim,

The William Byrd CD is very good. Will certainly have to look at a few more of the Alpha discs. Any further recommendations and could not find their website ? I will bring this CD along for the weekend in Paris.

I have a lot of music on vinyl with Gustav Leonhardt playing harpsichord and organ. All quite good.

Just about to sit down and listen to another favourite piece

Regards

This album keeps getting better. Plus, as a bonus it has the wonderful (IMHO) Emmy The Great on backing vocals.

Mark,

Here are some of my favorite Alphas:

015 Jean Barriere-Sonatas, Bruno Cocset
080 CPE Bach-Solo a Viola di gamba
047 Dietrich Buxtehude-Ciacone
088 Christopher Simpson-The Seasons, The Months

Also the Goldberg Variations disc played by Celine Frish on the harpsichord, Leonhardt's Frescobaldi and Bruno Cocset's Boccherini are very good.
