Pink Floyd - Delicate sounds of thunder.
Their best live album in my view.

I realize that I have bought faster than I can "consume". This one is another one that needs more "care"...

Hi Jim,

What's the verdict? Mine is on it's way from Japan. The things we do for pressing quality and additional tracks. Smile

It is as good. I do not think you will be disappointed and excellent sound quality again.

Mellow mood? Or did work make you feel like a Lift to the Scaffold?

Posted on: 25 March 2008 by MilesSmiles
... the later, but nothing a little Miles could not fix.

Re Jackson Browne's latest, just played it again and it is indeed excellent. A lot more unfamiliar (to me) material, but at least as engaging as the first effort.

I wish he'd release a disc with David Lindley, who accompanied Jackson on his tour down under a year or two ago. There was enough material in that performance for two CDs, and the guy (Lindley)is just an amazing musician, a whiz on just about any stringed instrument you'd care to name, strummed, bowed or plucked.

Not so hot in the vocal stakes though, reminds me of Leo Kottke's description of his own singing, "Like geese farts on a muggy night"

BBC Radio 3 ~ Composer of the Week

Carl Maria von Weber (1786-1826)

It's very good actually, comparable to Mozart : )
