Picked this up in mint condition today for 50p.
Sounds great
'When Poets Dreamed of Angels' track 6 is one of my essential demo tracks, it has helped me choose all my current system, after it first made the decision between a Marantz and Arcam CD player back in 1994.
Lovely album, is your copy on CD or vinyl?

James,
It certainly is. I have Munch's copy, which he kindly left here - don't let him suffer withdrawal for too long.

Ahhhahhhahhahhahhahh!
She came from Planet Claire
I knew she came from there
she drove a Plymouth satellite
faster than the speed of light
Planet Claire has pink air
All the trees are red
No one ever dies there
No one has a head
Ahhhahhhahhahhahhahh!
Some say she comes from Mars
Or one of the seven stars
That shine after 3:30 in the morning
WELL SHE ISN'T
She came from Planet Claire
She came from Planet Claire
She came from Planet Claire
Ahhhahhhahhahhahhahh!
One of best opening tracks from one the best first albums by a band.

"Crime of the Century" by Supertramp.
I thought that to some extent they they were a one album wonder. True, they did other good tracks on albums like Breakfast in America and Crisis, What Crisis, but they seemed to pack a lot of really good songs on to Crime of the Century which is a great example of 70s pop prog.

Wonderful voice tinged with the vocalizations of native Africa but tempered for Western ears. A beautiful album.
