nait3 hookup

Hi,
I recently had a split nait3 recombined into an integrated and a power plug added for the flatcap at the same time. I then sold it. The person who bought it is now contacting me and telling me he can't get it to power up. Does he just need a shorting plug or am I missing something else? He also said the rca inputs weren't working and am I am 99% sure that is due to no phono cards in the nait. I am trying to diagnose the problems without having the amp in front of me, so thanks for any help.
