DacMagic + OpenSolaris

This is a call to all the nerds around (non-nerds are still welcome though

)! Has anyone tried to use the DacMagic in Opensolaris? Or in any other alternative operating system? Thanks in advance!

Oh well - go on then....

I have only used it on Windows Vista and XP...

Biggest drawback is that the USB input on the DacMagic is limited to 48Khz...using a computer to output via optical or coax outputs should therefore be better.

Thanks for the info! Now I'll need to find a laptop with an optical output. And of course, hope that the soundcard works in Unix systems!
