Mystery Post

Posted by: Larry on 17 February 2002

Hi,
Whilst meandering through the forum, I happened to check my profile details and had a look at my posts. Strangely, I found a post credited to me which I have never seen before and certainly never written. (The NME one).
Can anyone shed any light on this? Have I been hacked?

Been drunk in charge of a PC lately? wink

I'm sure someone hijacking your account would write about something more controversial than NME.

Seriously folks,
I would like to know how this can happen.
I know absolutely nothing about NME!
Surely, somewhat more important than the current sorry debate about single names.

Larry,

Any kids/grandkids/neighbors/neighbors kids/brother/brother-in-law etc., witness your life in here and might have posted "as you" while you were grabbing a beer from the fridge?

Or.....as Andrew suggests, could you have hung out at the fridge too long while grabbing another beer? wink

regards,

dave

P.S. I agree... far more important than boy-banding.

OK, OK, I've probably just got to "that age" when the memory plays tricks on me. (Or family members sick of hearing Leonard Cohen's 10 New Songs stitched me up.)
By the way, I am THE Larry, but not the one you mean.
Take care
