Connecting FC2 to CD5 & Nait5 -connect Nait to mains?

I'will be connecting my Flatcap 2 to both the CD5 & the Nait 5 shortly -I believe a snaic4 connects outputA to the Nait & a snaic5 connects outputB to the CD5.
I have all snaics etc, but one thing that does not seem clear in the manuals is do I connect the Nait 5 to the mains?
-surely there is no need as it is being powered by the FC2?
(I know the CD5 would have to be connected to the mains, as the FC2 only supplies the analogue section of the CD5)
