Headline PSU connection queries

Hello,

Currently, i've a cdx/nat03/82/hicap system and i'm thinking of adding a headline. Could the headline work with the same hicap that powers the 82 or does it need its own psu? Also, i am pretty puzzled with what cables actually come with the headline. Do they allow the headline to run straight from the tape outputs of the 82 right out of the box, from the cdx, or both?

Hi , not sure about the power supplies, I think the Hi Cap will only power one device. My circa 2000 headline came with a fixed din plug which would plumb into either a naim CD or the tape out on your 82.

Thanks for your replies.

Does the headline perform better when connected to the tape output of the 52/82 (due to a buffer stage i believe) as compared to connecting it directly to a naim cdp, or is there no difference at all.

Does anyone with cdx/82/headline/hd600 have any satisfying experience to share?
