Red Wine

Posted by: markah on 29 January 2006

It was suggested to me on the forum last night that I should partake of a bottle of the red stuff. Does anyone have any favourites/suggestions? Come on, I know you love a glass of plonk. Personally, my favourite is Gevrey-Chambertin but that's only for special occasions. Other than that Tesco's Australian Cabernet Sauvignon will have to do!!

Hi Phil,

Yes, jumped in a bit quick there without realising there was already a 'Red Wine' thread. Feel a bit of a wally now.

Don't worry, you can't have too much red wine!

Oh, yes you can! You tend to wake up in the morning with a bit of a thick head if you've overdone it!

Does Tesco really flog a red called "Australian Cabernet Sauvignon"?

Does the label have a kangaroo on it? Big Grin

Yes Steve, they really do. And it's not that bad either. Along with Tesco Australian
Chardonnay. Now I'm off to 'put another shrimp on the barby'!
