Have a look at the photo I posted (with help from Peter taylor) in mail "That photo..." in thread "Have you been FRAIMed?", posted 8/8/01.
I just recently dismantled the whole lot for a clean and dust session and I'm still knocked out with the look and performance.

Yeah... the 'all black look' looked great but I am also interested in the black shelves + natural (aluminium) uprights... as this combination may go better in our room.
But the 'all black' look was impressive with the green Naim logos glowing away.

I have all my kit on black fraim with silver legs.
I think the combination works really well. I will try to get an image up at some point.

"I've mentioned the black/natural possibilty elsewhere on the forum and it's been kindly suggested to me that I'm being very 80s..."
That was in combination with a previous hairdo you never even had, Gizmo!
See, that's what you get with multiple personalities / hairdos!
Remember les Eighties? First everything was white. And then came the equally horrible reaction. Black and chrome. Black and gold details.
My neighbour, for instance, is a bit of retard (nice GF though) and has just DIYd a virtually completely black kitchen. Maybe with some "natural" details.
Of course the really bad thing about the Eighties were the stilted hairdos, and fortunately we ironed that problem out, Helen
