Russ Andrews Direction

Posted by: Not For Me on 04 July 2002

I don't know what direction Russ Andrews is facing, but his latest magazine has letters from three Naim owners praising his wares!

I sense a conspiracy afoot?

There is also review of a guy's system with a Marantz CD & Amp who seems to have spend £'000s on every bit of wire and mains gizmos that RA make! A true "90% on the wires, 10% on the equipment" believer.

Anyone out there a RA fan? Oak feet?

I have some Yello cables on Linn equipment which bring modest improvements

Mr Andrews is to be congratulated....he has proved that you can fool some of the people some of the time.

Mr Belt is far better, at least Mr Andrews tries to stay 'with us'

Although why people wish to spend their money in this way is beyond me.

I think the question here is value.
If money is no object, you can get the best possible equipment available commercially.

I believe most people find RA's stuff over priced.

Also, depend on how dirty is your mains. I live in a place with relatively clean mains, and most commercially available power cords doesn't make a difference.
