Add the extra Hicap to your 82!

Hi All,
I just took delivery of a 2nd Hicap for my 82 (cheers Alex-it arrived safe and well). For those of you wondering whether it is a worthwhile upgrade I can firmly recommend it. While it's early days it seems to be the typical Naim upgrade: everything gets bigger and smoother. I'm particularly impressed with what it has done to the CDX. This is a very exciting player which can on occasions sound a touch hard. With the extra Hicap it seems to have been tamed a bit. It hasn't lost any excitment-it just seems easier to listen to. The only thing is-I expect that the 250 might have to work a bit harder this summer. With everything sounding so smooth, the volume knob tends to get turned up pretty high!
