Do we have any drummers here...?

I used to dabble, but I haven't touched a kit in 15 years.

I just found out about this guy today though. These videos are stunning.

(OK, I suppose watching a guy bash drums is actually mind-numbingly tedious unless you have an interest but he is technically superb)

No. They keep on banging, but never know when to come in.

A shameless plug for this store is now needed, I feel:

You'll also notice the Chad Smith one coming up in October, too - should be good, me thinks.

I'm not a drummer, but I'm married to one.

I sure would hate to be Virgil's drum tech! IMHO, for ambidextrous drumming I'd take Bill Bruford anyday.

I used to be a drummer (no-one wants one who is both below average and can't drive though!!!) and I also appear to have "begat" one!!!

I still have my drum kit but haven't "really" played for over 20 years..... Last time I played on stage was 2 and a bit years ago and felt more nervous than I can ever remember!
I haven't and probably won't be doing that again!

I was wondering what what so special, until about 5 minutes in... then I saw what you meant!

Those electronic drum kits have come on quite a ways too since the synth sound of the 80's. If only I had the room to put one...

Flippin' heck!

I only have dial up whilst I'm in Oz but it was well worth the wait to download the whole thing - as said previously, I was wondering what you were on about until 5 mins or so into it! Amazing stuff!

Whoever said a drum solo is boring???? (OK, most are)...
