Bruno Mars

Posted by: Flame on 14 November 2010

Hi guys,

I rarely post on the "music room" but yesterday I downloaded an album called "Doo Wops and Hooligans" by Bruno Mars. First song is called "Grenade" and boy does that man know how to sing! I checked out the youtube live version of that song and the guy is even better live.

It has been a wile since I encountered some good new music, so I hope you can understand my enthusiasm. Has anybody heard Bruno before? He reminds me of Michael Jackson in his early days.

Regards...

On my recent journey to Poland, it is clear the Bruno Mars has had an even bigger success in Europe than in the UK, going by the airtime he was given in Poland and Germany while we made the motor-journey home.

Yes, he does have a talent that raises him well above the average in popular music. In my opinion of course.

Don't let the similarities turn you off. Bruno is a singer songwriter and guitar player. His style has got clear folk, blues and rock influence in it which makes for a very special style.

I just cannot get this song out of my head. It has got something. It has a kind sentiment. Most people want to "change" their partner toward the imaginery ideal - this is different ...
