Active Tukans

I know one or two of you out there run active Tukans. I have a pair on the way that were used previously with the Linn active cards. But, I'm thinking of using a NAXO. Do any of you use a NAXO (or SNAXO) on Tukans. Are yours set up specifically for Linn speakers, or are they set up for SBL's?

I used Linn components, but...

A gentleman on the old Exposure forum happily claimed to use a NAXO/SuperCap/2x135 setup behind his active Tukans.

Yeah, I've never heard active Kans, but active Tukans themselves are amazing.

I've used the Tukans with CDS2/XPS/52/SC/Snaxo/SC/4x135. The performance entirely belies their dimunitive size. Rhythm and dynamics out the wazoo, and a credible degree of upper bass too. They are a little less of a tough nut to crack then the Kans when it comes to minimal standard of requsite equipmenmt, but their kernels can be just as sweet. I would use active Tukans over about 95% of any other speakers out there.

Whoops

Ron made me think - it would have to be 4 135's, not 2, for an active Tukan.

I'm quite (very, actually) happy with my passive 250/Kan I setup, but once in a while I still stop and think about the fun with had active Tukans.
