Andy Powell and Co will be bashing out that wonderful intro riff during a UK tour in April.

I shall be at the Norwich gig on 5th April.

Not sure that I would want to see an old version of them. I liked them the way they were and wouldn't want to spoil my memories.
Hope you enjoy it.

I can sympathise with your point, Rasher.

Andy Powell is the only original band member left, but they predominantly play the old classics at gigs.

The newer stuff gets a pretty lukewarm response.

It's worth going to hear the gems from the first three albums.

J.N., thanks for the prompt.
i'll dig out ARGUS tomorrow for a blast from the past! it's on old flimsy 120g but the music's good.
mabye i could persuade Vivante Records to remaster/release it on 180g virgin vinyl? Big Grin

A Japanese made 'Argus' is the best it sounds on CD.

That and lots of the other albums available as Japanese pressings here:-

I had them all up to Front Page News, which I think was #5.
I have Argus, but must get the first two at least. Pilgrimage was always my fave, and I had that before Argus came out (showing my age).

'Distillation' is an excellent remastered 4 CD boxed set (and an interesting title for a change!)

Amazon are listing it as an import at £30 which seems like furkin good value.
