I didn't get any specific musuic gifts, but thanks to my company stopping reward points on the corporate credit card managed to grab a $250 music voucher before the points I had accumulated expired!
Needless to say 'tis long gone

This year I had the Works of Igor Stravinsky - a 22 CD set on Sony which is excellent. We have the in laws staying with us at the monoment and a quick blast of the Rite of Spring ensures I have the lounge to myself!

For me the best seasonal gift was the time to enjoy some of the wonderful albums I already have.
Sorry to be a bit cheesy and ever so slightly off topic but it is true.

What a nice gift, to give yourself.
Whats it sound like?
Well......it's a Godin A6 Ultra with a Humbucker and a Godin transducer.
It's half electric and half acoustic and has two jack outs to let you play with the humbucker alone or the humbucker and the transducer together.
The mix between the two pickups can be adjusted using the equalizer and the volumes near the bridge.
You can add that bit of nervous electric character to the transducer and make it more "bad" and you can give to the humbucker some of the smooth tone of the acoustic.
It's a very good guitar with a great tone and no artificial sustain.
And it fits the SBLs colour!

And.........OPS!
EQ and volumes are close to the neck and not the bridge.
Sorry, too much wine for the much cold!

I think I'm starting it, I thought I had missed getting a bout. Preventative hot lemon (blackcurrent). In case that doesn't work, a hot toddy to follow. Any excuse?
