I have imported a few things in the past,Dvd player when they were not available in the uk,But have always been charged import tax ,I read that this does not apply to projectors and would have liked to know if this was fact as it may swing me towards importing once again.

I've had a good look on the website linked above and as far as i can see projectors are not exempt unless they are private gift,They may however be classed as for an exhibition or for scientific use but there is no list to confirm if they can fall into these categories which are also exempt from tax. Dont think i'm gonna risk it anyway. Thanks for the link David.
