Anyone have this? I'm wondering what the quality of the pressing is? Only £20 or so and the actual tracks are great.

Cheers

appears to be new which would be great if the pressing is good. have the cd which as you say is a fine listen. got a better vinyl set-up than cd set-up these days though....

I've got it on white vinyl and it sounds iffy - even on my full blown bottom rung Naim stuff.

But, it sounds like the issue is with the vinyl, and on good plastic...it could be marvelous. I think Nirvana stuff hasn't aged that well imo, but this recording stands the test of time I think.

My white vinyl copy is iffy too. One side is acceptable, but the other has been mis-stamped and has so much wow on it, it makes me feel a bit queezy listening to it!

in my opinion whatever you think of nirvana that recording is very good, the cd is excelent, i had a bit of an opiphany listening to it just after xmas. i just bought a cd 5 and flatcap and wasnt sure. an im not sure if it had just run in to a stage that i was happy with or what but that album, specifically plateau (somewhat ironically i guess) realy made me realise i had done the right thing by eaking ferter into my house deposit money in buyin it
buy the record, what have you to loose. (apart from £20 of course)

I'd recommend the original USA vinyl DGC-24727.

The Bob Dylan Unplugged original USA vinyl is also great.

Is there any sites that review new release/re-issue vinyl that are worthwhile and compare the vinyl to CD?

I have seen some but they are all focused on Yes reissues and other music that I am not interested in

Thanks
