Is NAIM OK for DVDA & SACD?

Hi in particular people who understand the electronics side of NAIM.
I read from time to time in threads here about it being desirable to drive NAIM power amps with NAIM pre-amps because they are matched to provide the correct bandwidth limiting for the amp design principles uasd by NAIM.
I have also been informed that the new 5 and reference series are not so sensitive to this matching requirement but nevertheless benefit from this bandwdth tailoring aswell.
Now here come the questions.
What happens when you play a high bandwidth signal from a DVDA and SACD source through a NAIM "pre/power" pair?
Does the bandwidth tailoring chop off any frequency output above 20KHz which would effectively reduce these signals back to those acheived with a normal CD which has no output above 20KHz?
I am sure the answer is much more tricky than that since of course a quality Vinyl setup will have output above 20KHz aswell
The advent of the so called super-tweeter also prompts these questions since if you want you can playback frequecies right up to 50Khz and beyond. OK you can't hear them as such but HiFi opinion is that their presence can widen and enliven the whole sound stage, even as perceived at the low frequency end.
Incidentally my selfish focus is on the 5 and new reference series not the "olives" but I amd Eager to hear opinion on all.
