Clear sky.

With no aeroplanes to spoil the view here in the sunny south UK, i've got the telescope set up to watch a stunning Waxing Crescent Moon tonight.

It doesn't get much clearer than this.

Lovely and peaceful...Stunning.

P.S I would love to post a picture but unfortunately i'm too camera & computer illiterate. Maybe someone else could post some in?

Here in Leatherhead, you can always see at least 2 or 3 planes tooling about at various heights whatever direction you look. The clear blue sky and complete lack of moving objects is faintly disturbing...

Not as clear today as yesterday but at least more of the moon will be out.

Wednesday evening is looking good...for a clear sky and build up to the 1st quarter.
