So heres the deal.. you have the length of an album to live..........
What album would you listen too....??
Yes double albums count but it has to be your favourite album.
What i want is your fav album and only 1 choice!!!

Assuming I wasn't in pain or otherwise suffering, I'd choose Leif Inge's 9 Beet Stretch, which is a recording of Beethoven's 9th Symphony digitally stretched in time (without altering pitch) from 70 minutes to 24 hours. It would be the ultimate transcendence.

I have an album that "sticks" at one point and therefore lasts as long as my stylus and cantilever would ! Can I play that one and then leave the room to get on with the rest of my life ?
More seriously, MOBY 18. I would not see the end of it before slitting my wrists - gives me the ideal reason to play it if death was the end result.

That's an easy one.
Richard Strauss
Four Last Songs
Tennstedt
Popp.
"How tired we are of travelling - is this perchance death?"

Sgt Pepper, of course, has the final lead-out groove which last for ever, so I guess that would be Michael Jackson's choice.
Robyn Hitchcock once said that he'd like to be buried with Motorhead's Ace of Spades playing in his coffin!!

So it has to be the album to sum up all the things that made you smile and allows you to go out on a high. I would have to cheat just a little.
I would play Swervedriver's 99th Dream, followed by the track Duel off their Mezcalhead album. It's only a little cheat

I've got the USA vinyl of this. It's Cash at his best and beautifully mastered. After listening to Hurt, anyone would be ready to go.

Got to change mine to Zwan - Mary Star of the Sea. I'm playing it now and am thinking that nothing is better than this. Hope I make it to the next one!

That would be Big Hits (High tide and green grass) from the Rolling Stones. That was my first contact with the Stones when I was 13 (I'm 50 now) and I was used to listen to other types of music including Beatles. But that first contact with the Stones was a shock for me; that was clearly some type of a "rebel music" not too commercial, a mix of rock and blues.
The Stones are different now. But at the time what a sound ...

Hy my album would be :jethro tull:thick as a brick. As a german speaking person i can not understand the whole lyrics but it is for me the Album that presents the whole world of rock(and not only rock)
musik in all different facettes also including a far field of very old and very new instrumentes and styles showing how it is possible to bring them in connect.

Tough Choice, but if I have to pick it would be:
Glenn Gould A State of Wonder (Bach Golberg Variations)
