Hi NB,
I like this cd - laid back and a bit differant. Especially like track 2. Purchased this on strenght of her single and will buy alot worse that this offering before the years out I'm sure...

I bought the CD after hearing "The closest thing to crazy" at the Royal Variety show (Sad I know but someone has to watch it!)

Her versions of "Mockingbird" and "Lilac Wine" as spellbounding and her voice is pure velvet.

Well worth a listen!

Hi All,

I love this album - well produced, fantastic voice, great 'unhindered' performance.

Good to see that so many tracks are written by the talented Mr Mike Batt.

Did the Womble-esque little Clarinet touches give it away?

Enjoy,

Rich.

I didn't realise some of the songs were written by Mr Batt, it doesn't detract from the quality of the album though!

Hi NB,

About half the tracks are 'Batty'! But I always thought the Wombles theme stood head and shoulders above other themes when I was a kid. That said I listen to the Animaniacs as well... Roll Eyes

How's the move going by the way? I too want to see the look on your neighbours' faces when you wheel your speakers in...

Cheers!

I'll never forget the look on a neighbour's face when a Hartke bass cabinet with 4 12" drivers came out the back of a car into my house when I first moved in.

It was nearly as good as when the car turned up an hour later with *another* one!

Cool

Cheers!
