Anyway, I'm quite enjoying 18 but I dread the 2 million chill out compilation moments its going to provide.

Indeed the miserable bastard.

Not as good as play. I am a bit disapointed by his new release and it also not as well produced as his last one.

His last album "Play" was a classic, but this new one entitled "18" is just as good, imho.

Some great rhythms and tunes, with that distinctive Moby flavour.

It may be artificial for some, but to me, it is still great music.

I only bought it yesterday.

Regards,

Steve.

The proof of the pudding...

Hi guys,

I think 18 is a great album, it's more emotional affair (after event of Sep11). It's very good from start to finish.

Believe me or not, I only got Play last week (like Procelain, bought both CD singles), IMO, not question that 18 is much better. Maybe be more my kind of music, emotional & laid-back. Some very simple, but groovy rhythms.

Perhaps you should try Recoil (Alan Wilder from
Depeche Mode at the time), Moby raps on one of the track, called 'Curse', very good one with electro music. If you like Kraftwerk or DM, you should love this, it's called 'Bloodline'. Toni Halliday from Curve also appeared on this, plus Doug from Nitzer Ebb. (If you like Electronic music, you won't be disappointed).

18 is my current favourite, even I bought a lots of CDs (15) the last 02 weeks, Fila Brazillia, Leggo Beast, Melodic compilation ... etc.

cheers

Got it a week ago, really like it. Some terrific songs on it, and the track with Sinead O'Connor singing is just gorgeous. (As is 'Signs of Love.'

I prefer it to Play, but that's just horses for courses.

Best,

Bob
