But how often do you actually use those large formats? I even find the M8 a bit of a brick when it is in my jacket pocket.

Sold my 4x5 Gandolfi Variant II, after I got the Canham, it was rock solid, but a little too heavy.

I use my LF when I want to 'make' art. If I'm off to a tractor show it's either slides or DSLR.

I freely admit I do not use it much. I get it out every so often and usually do some contacts from the negs or just use Polaroids (since these are my only methods of getting prints from it nowadays). I do intend to get an 8x10" one day......

Taken using Leica R 180mm F2 Apo at the Leica Academy at the castle above Solms. It was early afternoon, in the garden, with the R6.2 on a tripod. I just spotted this rose across the garden with the background lost in the darkness
