DIN interconnect insulation.

Still a relative Naim newbie and learning the tweaks of the trade (to which there seem to be many), i was thinking about things that might effect sound quality that i could change without spending any money (as after buying Naim kit you dont get much change).

My system comprises CD5, 112, 150, FC2, headline 2, situated on a 3 tier quadraspire rack. From reading other posts i realise the importance of keeping the mains cables away from all the other cables (which i have done). But other than that the interconnect leads and NACA5 are all jumbled together behind the rack, and because the 3 tier isnt very high, there is a lot of slack which i have let lie as it has fallen.

Is the insulation on the Naim cables sufficient that i can leave the cable as it is without fear of some sort of interference between cables, or should i attempt some form of dressing? maybe keeping the speaker cable separate from other cables for example. Also the cable lies reasonably close to the FC2, could this possibly cause interference, or is there nothing to worry about? Speaker cable and DINs are lying on the floor about 2 inches away.

I would appreciate peoples experiences on this, as i would like to maximise the most out of my investment.

Thanks in advance

Hi Craig:

Try to keep the interconnects and SNAICs separate from one another and preferably, if you can manage it, don't let them touch the support or back wall (if there is one) either.

My system has about the same number of interconnects as yours and I had to resort to puting picture hooks in the wall behind the rack and then tying thin string around them and each interconnect to keep them free hanging. The difference this makes isn't earth shattering but it's not negligible either.
