Rolling Stones - No Security - Sister Morphine - LP

I don't know if anyone has discussed this lp, but if you listen to the particular track "Sister Morphine" sounds pretty damn superb.

Nick Lees,

Try this with your Obelisks. Vinyl, of course.

Interested to hear anyone's comments.

Agree totally. Pretty amazing actually for the Stones, having used us to awful recording quality in the studio (maybe except on Tattoo You) and to even worse sound quality in concert.

Another compliment goes to the unusual song list on this not that bad record.

Under My Thumb and Out Of Time from Aftermath sounds very good, I think. The tracks recorded at Muscle Shoals in -69, Brown Sugar and Wild Horses are good to. The whole album Some Girls sounds good. And some more, but not the latest stuff.

I will check the Sister Morphine one out.

But the hidden HiFi gem is a recording made by the BBC at Camden Theatre in -64. It is said to be an experimental broadcast in stereo. Sounds REALY good. It pops up on bootlegs from time to time, mine is german one.
