cd5 burn in

I am awaiting my cd5 flatcap 2 which should arrive shortly.
can anyone tell me how long it takes to burn in.
is it advisable to leave a disc in playing all the time on repeat to burn it in quicker.

About a week time. It is not advisable for quick burn in. What is the hurry? My CDX2 and XPS2 take around a week with moderate use (4 hours a day).

For my experience:
about >3 months for CD5 and
about >1 month for FC2

whereby I have left the CD5 playing with disc for the first week.

Nice combo, anyway.

What is your amplification?

Yep - that is, I did. If you do this monday to friday you should be past the first burn-in stage on saturday. Music should be quite enjoyable, though it will get better over time.

my amplification is 72/140 with roksan ojan speakers.
i will be powering my 72 with flatcap 2.
