No shark jumping, I thought season 4 was the best. I saw it when we accidentally bought a bootleg copy of the series on DVD.
John Lithgoe is superb in the series. The other thing I advise is to avoid trailers, interviews, etc. The series continues to be very unpredictable in its storylines, and finding out out information from interviews after it had been broadcast in the US spoiled one of the plot lines for my partner.
Series 5 starts in the US this autumn, and I am really looking forward to seeing that, at some point.
Garyi, I think Howard is talking about series 4 in his post - you may wish to change your post.

Season 4 carries on with the incredibly high standard this series has set.
It's essential that you read absolutely nothing about season 5 though.

I hope we are not creating too higher expectation for series 4, but it has been my experience that it has been a series which has delivered surprises, and changes to plot lines throughout all the series.
Since the wait for the UK broadcasts has been so long, much has been said about events in it on the web and in interviews, particularly at the EMMYs last year, which might give away some events. Also with Michael C Hall being treated for Hodgkin's lymphoma he was in the news a lot after series 4.
Also, don't look at the Wikipedia page, way too much information until you have seen all the that has been broadcast in the US.
Even if you have heard some things I can say that it will not spoil the series, the performances are really quite something in series 4.
Series 5 starts in the US soon, there is a trailer on the web for that too, but again, wait until you have seen 4.
Thanks too for the moderation on this one.

I did find season four very enjoyable but I lost interest in season three, that one was turgid. also the final episode of season three was a bit lame, what with the bleeding in the warehouse thing and apparently no one investigating this further.
But hey its only pretend. I do look forward to season five.
Anyone know if they are doing a second season of V? I found it a bit fragile but could develop.
