HDX with hi-line.

So I received my hi-line and duly read the instructions , plugged in and off I went, I must admit even for a novice like myself the difference is very noticeable.
So I have HDX with hi-line and a power-line
Nac 282
Nap 250
Hi-cap
and two things I wondered albeit maybe the second shows my ignorance which I'm trying to rectify.
1) Should I consider changing to power-line on the power, pre and hi and how much difference would it make ?
2) Hi-line states "will operate most effectively when the whole length of the cable is able to loop from the source to the destination without intermediate contact."
I assume this means with touching anything ?
Also it got me thinking, I (like most of you) have million cables at the back, now the people who installed it basically laid all the cables at the back of my hi-fi stand and cabinet and they are crossed over and generally all over the place, though out of sight.
This to me doesn't seem right, I would welcome any suggestions/thoughts from those of you who happen to be knowledgeable about such things.
Any help gratefully received.
Oh never has Tiesto or Dark Side Of The Moon sounded so awesome. :-)
