last.fm Group?

Does anyone else here log their listening on last.fm?
I'm wondering if it would be worth starting a "Naim Audio" or "Naim Users" group, there is a "naim" group but I don't think it's anything to do with Naim Audio.

sure.
same name as here.
I have never listened to music on Last fm. I only use it to scrobble and as a quick way to get some info on the album artist, pictures, discogs, to answer the "what year was that recorded?" questions.
I CANNOT handle lossy, streamed music. Cant do it. But it is a useful resource for scrobbling and perhaps finding a "related artist"...
It is where i found Squarepusher. Worthwhile for that, in and of itself.

I tend to just use it to scrobble, look things up and investigating related artists.

I've listened a fair bit to last.fm via the recent integration with Sonos. I think the sound quality is very good for an internet streaming source. Certainly good enough to listen to alternative artists/genres which I then may choose to buy.

So, what's the conclusion? Adam, or someone else from Naim will join last.fm to start it, or are we to do it ourselves?

I think it would be something homegrown. I cannot see Adam caring about this.

I'll create a group called Naim Audio, I'm sure ownership can be changed if needed.
Group is up.

So, now we are up to 5 members...
In the mean time, I've found NAD, on facebook:
Maybe NAIM should also have a profile? Anything for a good cause - showing the kids there is more to music than mp3....
