Well here it is then, started... Big Grin

A place for discussion of all things Rugby, whether club, national or international...

The next joy we have to look forward to is the Rugby World Cup. (I imagine it is at this point some of the NZ forum members will join in...)

Any comments, chaps? Or still a bit too early?

Dear James,

Not often I stick my head round this corner! Surely we should pray for the result the Lord wants in his mysterious ways rather than what any of us as individuals want! That was supposed to be funny in case anyone did not realise!

PS: I have no idea who the Tigers and Wasps are, but there goes! For some reason I know Coventry FC is the Sky Blues. Let's look for ward to a wet few days while the Cricket test series carries on!

Well played to Munster. That was a game of high intensity and, although maybe not free-flowing because of the tough defences, high quality.

I'm glad for Munster because their fans are incredible and I met many of them on the train on the way home from the Heineken Cup Final last year when they were fantastic value.

Congratulations!

Just got back from a great day at Lawrence Dallaglio's farewell event at Wasps and got to meet the great man himself in the bar afterwards.

Not a day I'll forget soon.

Why not try this page instead and look at the very top of each category.

It is a team game after all!

I would, but "Internet Explorer cannot display webpage". Not anything worth writing home about, then, if IE can't even be bothered to show it....

It will soon be time for history to repeat itself!

Just found out that I've been bought tickets for England vs Baabaas this sunday as a birthday pressis from the missus. Should be a fun day out. Anyone else going?
Matt.

At Half Time, some 23-6 down, I had every confidence that Tiger's proven strategy in recent games - the comeback - was going to secure another well-earned win. And indeed, the comeback was duly mounted. Unfortunately the ref's watch was fast, so he blew for the end of the game about 20 minutes early by my reckoning.

Of the 81,600 present to witness the game (a world record crowd for a rugby club match we were told repeatedly) two cats in particular were left looking as if they had licked the cream...

Same time next year then, lads? When wrongs will be righted! Razz

A great day out was enjoyed by Steptoe JWM and son (who isn't called Harold).

Apparently it's becoming such a regular humiliation for Leicester at Twickenham courtesy of London's (well Buckinghamshire's) finest that even the world's best golfer is thinking of changing his name.... Wasp Woods anyone?!!
