Well here it is then, started...

A place for discussion of all things Rugby, whether club, national or international...
The next joy we have to look forward to is the Rugby World Cup. (I imagine it is at this point some of the NZ forum members will join in...)
Any comments, chaps? Or still a bit too early?

Hey Ali,
it was great to see a competitive scottish pack. We really do need JW in there to control things.
I can't wait to for SOuth Africa in 2 weeks time. Should be a stern test.

A bit of good news today. I have been invited to co-host the company corporate box for the England v Wales Six Nations International at Twickenham in February.
You never know, I might even get to see the game through the alcoholic haze!

Hi Mark,
Are you still considering coming up for the Sale-Wasps game in October? Unfortunately Ryan can't make it but I'm still up for it.

Hi Mark
I must admit I didn't check the fixture list properly and didn't realise it was a Friday night game.
I will need to check my work schedule for that Friday to see if I can take the day off work.
I'll let you know.
Regards

Not really, I spent part of this evening in the pub with a very nice young lady from NZ (amongst others I hasten to add!). To be honest, I think she would beat the cr*p out of our lot, let alone the All Blacks

At least you don't have to face them in the group stages.....in our house too. Be scared be very scared, coz I bloody well am.

Ireland are going to be up for it now. Typical French rugby though, no bottle.

Right, have I got this right...
In the rugby version of 'paper, scissors, stone' ... Argentina beat France, France beat England, who do England beat...?

Yours depressedly*

* I've had a Chord Crimson between my P75 and 82 this evening. 75% improvement over the Chrysalis, 25% worse. Dilemma

Interesting result...could put up some witty commentary but instead I'll restrict it to:
Ha.A-hahahaha. HaHaHaHaHaHa. Haha.

Well, I reckon after that performance that England are nailed on certainties to win the World Cup!

Hi Mark
Sorry it's taken me a while to reply, I sort of forgot. It seems I have a meeting that day that I cannot get out of which will not finish until late. It won't leave me enough time to travel up for the game. Saturday games are always going to be easier for me, unfortunately.

So who is your money on England beating to progress to the next round, Samoa or South Africa?
Posted on: 10 September 2007 by Chillkram
I wouldn't put money on either of those options, PB!

Not to worry, Mark. I'll give them a shout for you! Perhaps I'll get down to Adams Park for a game this season, that would be fun.

Looks like the Sale game and the Leicester game are within a week of each other in March. They look like good candidates to go and see. JWM and Jamie Wednesday may also be interested in the Tigers game.

Wasps at the Tigers den - 29th March 2008 at Welford Road - hard to say from this far out, but it's looking more possible than Gloucester a week earlier (which I DEFINITELY can't do).

Hi Mark,
I've just looked at my projected work dates (as I work away from home) and I will be home for both of those games, so hopefully we can sort something out.

How about Munster coming to Wasps at home in the Heineken cup on 10th November?
(The Wirral's close to Ireland isn't it?)
