Golf as a team sport - The Ryder Cup

I, for one, am looking forward to watching the competition - a very "young" (ie:experience) US team against the Europeans domination, albeit with several veterans passed over in Faldo's selections.
Although a "team" event, the purity of golf remains as it comes down to individual contests within the formats - my favorite being match play.
I will bump as necessary/appropriate through the week. Any interest out there ?

Just in from my first outing on the Old Course @ St Andrews - even managed a birdie in amongst all the dross. Fantastic sunny weather with only a light gale. Perfect. Lovely course, full of interest and challenge.
