Cables and more

Hi,

Has anybody ever tried a Chord Odyssey Speaker
Cable. What are your impressions.

Further I'd like to ask people who have changed
from NAC 102 (with NAPSC and Hi-Cap) to a 82
how much better the 82 is. Should I go for that
or even save my money for more (52), which means
at least 2 years of saving.

Thanks for your comments.

Hi...

I borrowed a biwire length of Odyssey and found it to be better than, but only just, the DNM Reson cable I had been using at that time. It has a slightly more extended bass, but it's quite a thick cable and difficult to route neatly (which is important for me, as I like my cables to be run 'out-of-sight'!).

Note that my system doesn't have Naim amps so you may find more or less of a difference in your system. I found Nordost Red Dawn speaker cable to be considerably better in the context of my system, plus it is flat and so routes easily.
