Christ, I can't think what's uglier - the speakers or the wallpaper!

Mick,
If you want you can e-mail the full versions of the pics and I'll put them on the storage area of my site so it's not so torturous.

Mick, thank you for that -- I've been waiting for this day for two years now! Not quite everything I hoped for, but the wallpaper is indeed excellently hideous

CFhaps
Pic number two is giving me problems so I will have a bash tomorrow evening.
Whether it's worth the wait is debatable.

This is a pic of me sitting next to the Hutter. You have to admit that the Hutter looks good, even if I don't.

It's hard to tell Mick. But I'm sure we would be able to tell the difference as soon as the picture transpires.
Herman
PS all of this just goes to show it's not worth the effort.

Mick is still having problems with all his new fangled technology, so he emailed me the pic and asked me to sort it all out for him.
So, as promised seemingly an age ago, here’s Mick resplendent in his living room…

Garyi,
Simple examination of the image with proper image software rather than GIMP reveals that Mick has altered the image. Using the NSA add-in pack for Photoshop reveals it orginally looked like this:
Zooming in we see that Mick was actually enjoying "Leather Biker Queens From Hell 3" when the picture was taken:

Give the poor technophobe a break; it took him an age to display just one third of his equipment, and that with Steve Biker Vixen on the telly!.
Alex
BTW Mick, you have too many briks in your listening room.

Looking at he pic of the room one could see that 42" plasma screen would have sat nicely over the stone altar and would have been between the two speakers.
Optimum listening and viewing position
Lowering the mantlepiece by about 24" would have provided a very good TV platform.

Mrs Mick runs the house, my sole function is to flash the plastic at the spotty faced salesman and hammer the poor little sod down on price. Seeing or hearing a salesman squirm is one of those joys that makes life worth living.
The difference in price between the Loewe and the Toshisha was significant and the difference in quality was nowhere near as great.
Also TV technology is moving so fast, that a life expectancy of 5 years is going to be the norm, thus on value for money, the Toshiba (award winning model BTW) won by a healthy margin.
Please remember that I am but a poor public servant, not some affluent consultant such as your goodself.
I bought a good DVD and Video recorder as well as the TV and the difference in price between Toshiba and Loewe package was nearly £1800.00.
I will be buying Mrs Mick loads of gold goodies when we visit South Africa with the money I have saved. Mrs Mick is already dribbling over the thought of new bangles and necklaces etc. So she is happy.
Life is complicated when one lives with Mrs Mick or any other woman. She now wants an open topped car just for the summer........life is a constant battle for us married guys.
BTW what is wrong with the wall paper.

Don't be silly Mick - all you do is brag about the fun the two of you have. As I've said before, you're a very lucky man.

Just lose the guns, please.

It's true: I once saw a picture of one of those dreary Eastern Bloc industrial cities, dominated by a huge Lenin statue - except the face wasn't Lenin's.
Now I know who he was!
