MP3's play on DVD5.

Hi there,
I've just put a DVD with some MP3 albums on it into my DVD5. And lo and behold, it brings up a list of all the folders on the DVD and starts playing the MP3s !
I'm sure this is not listed anywhere as working and wondered if anyone else has tried this ?

MPEG1, MPEG2, AAC, surround MP3s (I presume) also are present on the list of recognized audio formats, though I've never tried any of 'em.

It's a shame that there isn't a sneaky little Divx capability in it, as that would come in remarkably handy for me at present...

It's a real shame that Naim CD players don't play MP3s as well

MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3) files would necessitate some kind of MPEG decoding capability, which would be unnecessary for normal playback of Compact Discs–but this capability is entirely required for a DVD player.

OK. But I still think it's a shame Naim CD players can't play MP3s
