Anyone heard the effects of one of these through a Naim Cd player?

Bruce,

I've heard Bedini Quadri beam through CD5/NAC112/NAP150/FC2/Intro2 and CDS3/552/3x500/DBL - it's amazing little box !
You get lower noise floor, more detail, but most importantly more pleasure of the music. Besides it works in every other system I've tried it with - round or flat earth.

So, my advise is give it a try.

Hi,
I posted a reply to a similar thread on:
http://forums.naim-audio.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=67019385&f=48019385&m=5501923946

Basically I would thoroughly recommend one of these!

I bought one of these years ago. Seemed a good idea at at the time, and helped my less than talented CD players to sound good.

I recently tried this with Naim CD players - I think it kills the music.

If anyone thinks this is source-first, no-mana, dogmatic behaviour, just put your money where your mouth is and convince me to part with it! Go on, I dare you! Cool It's rather fetching as a sort of LP-bookend.

PS - my dealer, bless him, said all along it was rubbish.

Rico,
LOL! Smile
Nice to see a differant point of view!

Marco,
4 the record I think the bedini does the opposite - its as if it brings stuff back into focus and 'cleans' the cd up...

Marco,
He's entitled to his opinion, I just found a differant result to him when using it with Naim equipment. In fact It doesn't matter what Iused the Bedini with hi-fi wise, my friends allways noticed an improvement when I'd zapped their cd's, regardless of system used for playback

far be it from me to suggest I'm in the least bit successful in business. Yet I have in fatc, been too busy to revisit this until now. Thanks for your intense interest, Marco - have you tried this piece of shite? Really, I *did* invite those doubting thomas's to put their money where their mouths are - you however appear to ignore this and instead cast your doubts with classic laymans logic blah blah. Should you wish to discuss this further, I invite you (again) to take it off my hands - and then comment.

If I were to attempt to sell you an IT solution based on mid-1990's technology, you'd laugh! Indeed, the server sitting on the desk beside me was manufactured in 1996 - not much good for anything more than firewall duties these days! If I managed to close you with such technology there are plenty of folks here would have a good laugh at your expense, and wonder how you could make such a mistake.

What am I talking about? This bedini is an antiquity of little use, destinied for the failings of another time and place. Your nostaligia is clearly getting the best of you.

CD Technology has come a long, long (long*) way since the heady mid-'90's days of the bedini and re-jigged 1980's british "sports" cars. Don't you think it might have been merely a panacea?

Just consider the CDSI. And it's releative strengths compared with (say) any other POS mid-90's CDP. Geddit?

Sounds a great product - also, can you still get those green pens to colour the edge of your discs with?

Rico,
wow, some reply!
If you don't like what it does then thats cool, but i also tried it with a cd after it had been bedini'ed and in my PC's Cd-rom. The cd even sounded better in my cd-rom and cambridge soundworks speakers. IMO I think the effect is dependant on how often the cd has been previously played since last being zapped.
but if u no like.... Roll Eyes
