It has been a long, wet, and largely quiet summer...

...but now I have got my repaired, refreshed and partly recapped system back after our domestic power problems in June.

Luverly. We really have missed it, my wife is fighting over the next CD to put on. Shows how much we get pleasure from the HiFi at home.

Unless Bruce meant "quite a summer" in which case he should still see pedants.

Once again we find the Padded Cell addressing mankind’s most important issues.

(Please copy and post to the Word and Grammar Rage thread for proper dissection.)

Glad you have music in your life again, Bruce.

Dear Bruce we have had the coldest wettest and most miserable winter for 68 years here in Sydney.

So the old HiFi has had quite a few miles knocked off its life expectancy.

It is sunny and almost warm here today so will be going for a test drive of the new FORD FALCON FG FPV F6. $ litres of tubo power 310kw and 565nm torque, quicker than many a porsche for $65,000.00. Talk about bang for your buck.

Now i can afford to buy one but the insurance co's will not play ball till i get rsidency get a better flat with a garage etc etc.

So maybe next year.

Rain is forecast for most of the week.

Oh bugger just like home in summer.

regards David
