Pink Floyd 'Pulse' DVD

Well, it's nearly here after years of waiting and by all accounts it will be to die for. Annoyingly it seems that UK release is set for 10th July, though in Ireland and some of Europe it will be out on Friday.

So given that I really want to be able to sit down this weekend and relive that magical night at Earls Court does anyone have a view on my options?

What chances have I of bribing a local record store to release a copy before Monday?
Is ther anyone in Europe who is likely to get an overnight delivery here for Saturday morning via Fedex etc?
Any other suggestions as to how I might make this weekend a Floyd fest??

FLOYD IS HERE!!

Found a very nice record shop who didn't seem to know it wasn't yet released so I'm about to cook a Spaghetti Bolognese, uncork a very fine bottle of Rioja and settle down to relive that wonderful night in 1994 at Earls Court.

It's night like this that justify all the sacrifice to attain a good system - the anticipation of hearing this release is like going for a date with Maria Sharapova, picking up your napkin and noticing she isn't wearing any knickers!!

Have fun guys, I can post impressions tomorrow if anyone's interested.

and racing around to come up behind you again...

Right bolognese is simmering, I've put the baby to bed, the vino is open and the bloody wife is on the phone to her Mother in the lounge - she's been on for the best part of an hour and being Irish shows no signs of stopping, even Gilmour's getting impatient waiting for her!! Maybe I should tell her Sharapova has just knocked on the door and she's not wearing any knickers? Whaddaya think guys - worth a try?

The fact I'm stuck out here in the middle of bloomin nowhere on this shitty rust bucket (ie. my place of work) doing a three week'er at the time the Pulse dvd is FINALLY released.......

Bugger.

Will have to wait and read all your reviews of the gig and how drunk you all got enjoying the show.......but I'll have my turn eventually......in about two and a half weeks...... Frown
