250 + 140 - Naxo?

Is there any way I can use my two power amps without having to purchase a Naim cross over? My speakers are 3 way so I would like to have my 250 for the tweeter and mid and use the 140 for the bass. Do Naim make a lead that would go from a 72 to these amps? Would it upset the pre amp to do this set up?

Yes I do have a Hi-cap & my speakers are a kit (Hi-fi world KLS3 Gold) which I have kept the cross overs out side the speaker units. I do not have a Naxo. Hope this helps as it would be nice to try the set up I want.

Remember that a crossover prevents out of band energy going to a driver.

If you are not going to use an active crossover, you must use the passive one! Does the passive one allow bi-amping?

If you just connect an amp to the tweeter without the passive crossover and have not got an active crossover in front of the amp, then you are putting all the bass energy in the music into the tweeter. It will not last long!

I will of course be using the passive cross over which is in currwnt use with the speakers. I can also split the cross i.e, for tweeter & mid to the 250. And the bass exclusively for the 140.
