Pioneer PDR-609 cables and disks question

Hi All

I've just got a Pioneer PDR-609 and wondered which was the best CDRs to use. I believe there are a few owners of this recorder on the forum and would like your feedback. Also I need a digital cable from my Micromega to the Pioneer. Both use RCA Coaxial connectors and wondered what cables to buy.

I was thinking that for the uses I would be putting it too, making up comps etc. that I wouldn't be spending much on cables. Thanks for the advice on CDRs.
