One for the Cyclists

Hi,
Anyone else out there ride Tandems? If so what do you ride, how do you rate it?

I hired a Cannondale Tandem in San Francisco once for 3 days with a (now ex)girlfriend, who was also a cyclist, we spent a decent amount of time off road and well as a good few miles on – it was great fun, yeah there were a few arguments but all in all highly rated.

But then I'd also suggest riding singlespeed....

Dawes Galaxy tandem. Ideal for 2 riders of unequal abilities. Just as easy as a solo, but easier cruising and better top speed (we've done 60mph+). Motorists seem to give you a wider berth too.

Reginald,
We have a Dawes Edge (nothing like the current double edge), ours is very similar to the galaxy. Currently considering some more modern lighter weight options.
Where do you ride?
